Concept R18 From BMW
Modern Interpretation of
The Cruiser

BMW motorcycles are a grateful base for enthusiastic engineers who have got their hands on tailor-made models and there are really many of them. However, the time came in 2020, when we witnessed one such model
from the brand itself. The German multinational company, the tallest boxing motorcycle ever built, presents a clean, trimmed, and carved BMW Motorrad custom concept armed with a completely new prototype of a flat-twin engine.

Named the "Concept R18", this cruiser follows the hot heels of the original R90S, the six-cylinder Concept 101 bagger, and the R5 Hommage, as BMW Motorrad's design department continues to create an image of every Concorso d'Eleganza.

The R18 concept, unveiled on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the "Concorso" event, represents a modern interpretation of a cruiser backed by immense heritage and history - the typical BMW Motorrad design chief Edgar Heinrich feels "for which other companies would kill".
