MP-11 Red Magic
Hublot and his new addition to the family Big Bang MP-11. The latest model is a limited edition of 100 pieces of ceramics. There is nothing unusual nowadays when ceramics are used in watchmaking, but it is rare to use them in bright colors such as the one that Hublot presents in this model. The Big Bang MP-11 Red Magic's HUB9011 movement has 14 days of power reserve thanks to seven series-coupled barrels arranged horizontally, just below the display for the time The irregularly shaped sapphire crystal isn't unheard of nowadays, but it is still pretty unusual. Transmitting energy from the horizontally aligned barrel arbor to the vertical gears controlling the hour and minute display necessitated the use of a 90-degree helical worm gear, which is visible at the 10 o'clock position. The balance wheel can be seen on the other side of the dial, at 2 o'clock.
