Osteria Francescana in Modena, Italy is one of the most elusive reservations in the world. After earning three Michelin stars and the title of 'world's best restaurant', its chef and owner Massimo Bottura is among the most celebrated culinary personalities on the planet. Now, for the first time, American gourmands get an opportunity to savor his fare without the need for months of planning—nor even a passport. On Monday, February 17, Gucci Osteria de Massimo Bottura Beverly Hills opens for reservations. Here's what you can expect from Los Angeles' hottest newcomer.
 

The intimate rooftop space spills out from a sleek interior—lined with custom-designed Italian wallpaper and filled with wicker furnishings—onto a garden-rimmed patio. A narrow alfresco perch peers out over iconic Rodeo Drive, three floors below. Diners access the eatery through a dedicated elevator adjacent to Gucci's recently-expanded 9,000 square foot boutique.  

Massimo Bottura is a truly charismatic chef, loved by everyone. Thanks to his creative cuisine, he moved from the back of the kitchen ladder to second place on the list of the 50 best restaurants in the world for his Osteria Francescana restaurant.
